Spanish Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. uncooked rice
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    2 c. water
    1/2 chopped onion
    3 Tbsp. ketchup
    1 bud garlic
    1/4 tsp. cumin
    2 tsp. salt
    1 can chopped green chilies
Preparation
    Saute rice in olive oil until golden brown.
    Separately mix together all remaining ingredients.
    Pour into sauteed rice and bring to a boil.
    Reduce to low heat and simmer approximately 20 minutes.
    Let stand 2 to 3 minutes before serving.
