Charolais Beef In Sour Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 average size 1-inch thick Charolais steaks
    1/2 c. butter
    salt and pepper to taste
    pinch of rosemary, thyme and nutmeg
    1 Tbsp. parsley
    1 Tbsp. chopped green pepper
    1 pt. sour cream
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Sear the steaks in the butter on both sides in 2 large skillets on top of the stove.
    Place steaks in large casserole; place in oven to keep hot while you pour cream in pan in which you have seared the steaks.
    Stir in sherry; pour over the steaks.
    Bake for 45 minutes.
