Clam Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 cans minced clams (3 c.)
    2 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
    1 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. light cream
    2 medium size boiled potatoes
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    2 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. each: salt and pepper
Preparation
    Set aside 1 cup clam liquid.
    Boil potatoes until tender. Drain potatoes in a bowl and save 1/2 cup of the liquid.
    Fry onion; don't burn.
    Stir in clam liquid, 1/2 cup potato liquid and clams.
    Cook, covered, over low heat for 10 minutes.
