Stroganoff Of Beef - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. lean beef round or tenderloin, cut into 1 1/2-inch cubes
    1/2 c. butter
    2 c. mushroom pieces
    2 c. Bermuda onions, chopped
    1 tsp. pepper
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 Tbsp. sherry
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    1/2 c. stuffed olives, sliced
    2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    2 Tbsp. cold water
    1 c. sour cream
Preparation
    Brown meat cubes in butter.
    Add onions and mushrooms and cook 5 minutes.
    Add tomato paste, sliced olives, salt, pepper and Worcestershire.
    Stir into meat mixture; cover and simmer 1 hour. Mix cornstarch and water; stir into mixture.
    Add sherry.
    Cover and simmer 10 minutes.
    Just before serving, add sour cream. Serve with cooked noodles or browned potato balls.
