Pumpkin Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 2/3 c. regular flour
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/3 c. shortening
1 1/3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 c. canned, mashed pumpkin
1/3 c. water
1/2 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
Preparation

Grease 2 (9 x 5 x 3-inch) loaf pans.
On wax paper, sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Cream shortening, sugar and vanilla.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.
Stir in pumpkin.
