Round Steak Sauerbraten - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. round steak (1/2-inch thick), cut into 1-inch cubes
    1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 envelope brown gravy mix
    2 c. water
    1 Tbsp. minced onion (instant)
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1/2 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 bay leaf
Preparation
    Brown meat in oil; remove meat.
    Add 2 cups water and gravy mix.
    Simmer to boil.
    Add onion, sugar, salt and pepper, ginger, Worcestershire and bay leaf.
    Simmer.
    Add meat and simmer for 1 hour.
    Pour over cooked noodles.
