Quick Chocolate Brittle - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. raw peanuts
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet morsels
Preparation

Lightly grease 9-inch square pan.
Sprinkle peanuts into pan and set aside.
Combine brown sugar and butter in medium saucepan. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture reaches 270\u00b0 on candy thermometer.
Immediately pour over peanuts in pan. Sprinkle chocolate morsels over top.
Cover with aluminum foil for 2 minutes.
Remove foil and spread melted chocolate over top. Chill until firm.
Remove candy from pan and break into pieces.
