Strawberry Shortcake - cooking recipe

2 1/3 c. biscuit mix
3 Tbsp. sugar
3 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
1/2 c. milk
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
1 envelope Dream Whip whipped topping mix
2 c. sliced strawberries
1 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation

Combine biscuit mix, 3 tablespoons sugar, 3 tablespoons butter and the milk, mixing with a fork to form a soft dough.
Knead dough on a lightly floured board; roll 1/4-inch thick.
Cut into 12 (3-inch) rounds.
Brush 6 of the rounds with the 2 tablespoons of butter.
Place on ungreased baking sheet.
Top with remaining rounds and bake at 425\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
Cool.
