Curried Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. finely shredded cabbage
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. minced garlic
    1 tsp. curry powder
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Wash the cabbage and shred as for slaw.
    Heat butter in a large skillet.
    Add the garlic, curry powder and salt; saute for about 2 minutes.
    Add the cabbage; cook, covered, until tender, about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Some cooks like to add a cup of canned tomatoes just before the cabbage is done.
    If it seems to stick during cooking, add just a little water.
    Serves 4 to 6.
