Sopillos Or Sopaipillas - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. shortening
    2 tsp. baking powder
    scalded milk (to make stiff dough)
Preparation
    Sift flour and baking powder.
    Cut in shortening.
    Cool milk to just warm and add.
    Roll out to thin pie crust thickness.
    Cut in 2-inch squares and fry in deep hot fat.
    Yields 30.
