Pecan Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. corn syrup
    1 c. water
    2 c. pecans
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Cook sugar, corn syrup and water to 260\u00b0.
    Add pecans and salt and cook to 290\u00b0.
    Stir constantly.
    Remove from heat and add butter and soda.
    Stir well and quickly.
    Pour in two cookie sheets, buttered.
    When cool, break as desired.
