Caribbean Chicken And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (14 1/2 oz.) can Del Monte Cajun style stewed tomatoes
    2 3/4 lb. chicken fryer pieces
    1/4 lb. hot Italian sausage links, sliced
    3/4 c. uncooked rice
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1/2 tsp. ground allspice or cinnamon
    1 (15 oz.) can black or pinto beans, drained and rinsed
    1/2 green pepper, chopped
Preparation
    Drain tomatoes, reserving liquid.
    Add water to measure 1 3/4 cups.
    Salt and pepper chicken.
    In large skillet, brown sausage and set aside.
    Add chicken and brown, drain.
    Add sausage, rice, garlic, allspice and reserved liquid.
    Bring to boil; cover and cook over low heat 20 minutes or until chicken is done.
    Stir in remaining ingredients; cook 5 minutes.
