Fluffy Tapioca Pudding(From 1975 Edition) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. Minute tapioca
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1 egg yolk
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/8 tsp. salt
    2 c. milk
    1 egg white
    3/4 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix tapioca, salt, 3 tablespoons sugar, milk and yolk in pan. Let stand for 5 minutes.
    Beat egg white until foamy; gradually beat in 2 tablespoons sugar, beating to soft peaks.
    Set aside.
