Coffee Cake(Makes 8 Servings) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour, divided
    1 egg
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    2 Tbsp. peach or pineapple preserves
    dash of salt
    1/3 c. each: margarine, divided and skim milk
    1/3 c. granulated sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 c. firmly packed dark brown sugar
Preparation
    In large mixing bowl, combine 1 1/4 cups flour with granulated sugar, baking powder and salt.
    With pastry blender or two knives used scissor-fashion, cut in 3 tablespoons margarine until mixture resembles coarse meal.
