Oven Style Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. light brown sugar
    1/2 c. white Karo syrup
    1/4 tsp. vanilla
    6 to 8 quarts popped corn
    2 sticks (1 c.) margarine
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Place brown sugar, margarine, corn syrup and salt in a 2-quart saucepan.
    Bring to a boil and boil 5 minutes.
    Add vanilla and soda, stirring after each addition.
    Pour syrup over popped corn and stir to cover all kernels.
    Place on 2 cookie sheets and bake in 250\u00b0 oven for 45 minutes, stirring often.
    This may be stored in coffee cans or frozen in bags.
