Apple, Walnut And Coconut Crisp - cooking recipe

4 Granny Smith apples
1/4 c. fresh lemon juice
1/3 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. rolled oats
1/3 c. finely chopped walnuts
1/3 c. sweetened flaked coconut or unsweetened
1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground allspice
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/3 c. (5 1/3 Tbsp.) unsalted butter, cut in bits
Preparation

Peel, core and cut apples into 1/3-inch slices.
In a large bowl, toss apples with lemon juice.
Layer drained apples in a well-greased 9-inch square baking pan.
