Apple Crisp - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 apples, sliced or 1 qt.
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. flour
7 Tbsp. shortening
Preparation

Butter a baking dish and fill with apples, water and cinnamon mixed.
Work together remaining ingredients with fingertips until crumbly.
Spread over the apple mixture and bake uncovered in a 400\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes.
Serves 6.
Serve with whipped cream, milk or ice cream.
