Fried Onions - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 or 4 Tbsp. butter
    4 large onions
    salt and pepper
    1/4 c. water
Preparation
    Place butter and sliced onions in frying pan.
    Stir and fry. When golden color, add 1/4 cup of water and cover.
    Cook until tender.
    May drain liquid before serving.
