Bean And Bacon Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 slices bacon, cut up
    1 c. chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. flour
    3 c. milk or 3 c. water and 3 Tbsp. nondairy creamer in each cup water
    2 medium potatoes, peeled
    1/4 tsp. crushed dried thyme
    22 oz. baked beans
    1/4 c. snipped parsley
Preparation
    Cook bacon and onion in a saucepan until bacon is lightly browned and onion is tender.
    Blend in flour.
    Add milk.
    Cook and stir until bubbly.
    Dice potatoes.
    Add with thyme, 1 teaspoon of salt and 1/8 teaspoon of pepper.
    Cover and simmer 12 to 15 minutes or until potatoes are done.
    Stir in beans and heat completely. Top with your parsley.
