"Dear Heloise'S" Olive Nut Sandwich Spread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 oz. cream cheese, softened
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    1 c. salad olives, chopped
    2 Tbsp. olive juice
    pepper to taste
Preparation
    Let cream cheese stand at room temperature until soft.
    Mash with a fork and add mayonnaise.
    Add chopped pecans, olives and olive juice.
    Stir well.
    Add pepper to taste.
    The mixture should be mushy.
    Store in pint jars for 24 to 48 hours.
    It will thicken.
    Good on thin toast or on thin bread and lettuce.
