Perfect Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter, softened
    1 1/2 c. plus 2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. vanilla
    4 eggs
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar; add vanilla and mix well.
    Add eggs one at a time beating thoroughly.
    Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
    Now add a little at a time to creamed mixture alternating with the milk.
    Pour into greased and floured Bundt pan.
    Bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0 or until golden brown.
