Refrigerator Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. Crisco
1 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. salt

Preparation

Mix Crisco, sugar, eggs and vanilla together.
Measure flour with soda and salt.
Stir in with sugar and Crisco.
Form into roll 2-inches across; wrap in waxed paper.
Chill until firm.
Heat oven to 400\u00b0.
Slice 1/8-inch thick.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet; bake 8 to 10 minutes at 400\u00b0.
