Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. day old bread cubes
    3 eggs, slightly beaten
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    dash of salt
    2 c. milk, scalded
Preparation
    Place bread cubes in a greased 1-quart casserole.
    Combine eggs, sugar, salt and vanilla.
    Gradually blend in scalded milk. Pour over bread cubes.
    Set casserole in a pan of hot water and bake in a slow oven at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour or until a knife inserted halfway between center and outside edge comes out clean.
