One-Half Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
1 stick butter or margarine
1/2 c. shortening (Crisco)
5 eggs
dash of salt
1 1/2 to 2 c. flour
Preparation

Cream together sugar, butter and shortening.
Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition.
Add salt and flour, mixing well.
Bake 1 hour at 315\u00b0 or until tests done.
