Egg-Cheese-Ham Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 slices stale homemade bread (yeast type)
    1 stick butter, melted
    1 lb. Cheddar cheese
    2 small cans mushrooms
    1/3 c. onion
    8 eggs
    3 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. paprika
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 lb. shredded ham or 1 lb. sausage, browned and drained
Preparation
    Cut bread in small squares.
    Put half in buttered long cake pan.
    Pour half of the melted butter over the bread.
    Make 2 layers:
    bread, butter, 1/2 cheese, 1 can mushrooms, onions and 1/2 ham.
    Mix together milk, salt, paprika and eggs.
    Pour over layers.
    Make the night before serving and let stand in refrigerator.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes or until done.
