Ingredients

1/2 c. buttermilk
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. flour
2 eggs, separated
pinch of salt
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients.
Beat egg yolks until light.
Add yolks and dry ingredients alternately with buttermilk.
Beat egg whites until stiff.
Fold into mixture.
Pour small amounts on griddle or frying pan.
Fry until brown.
Serve with butter and your favorite syrup.
