Frosting For White Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 egg whites
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. light corn syrup or 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1/3 c. cold water
dash of salt
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Place all ingredients, except vanilla, into double boiler.
Mix thoroughly.
Cook, beating constantly, with electric beater until mixture forms peaks, about 7 minutes.
Remove from heat; add vanilla and beat until of spreading consistency.
