Shrimp Creole(Yields 8 Servings) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 slices bacon
5 medium onions, finely chopped
7 stalks celery, finely diced
6 oz. can tomato paste
4 ripe tomatoes, chopped with juice
1/2 c. sugar
3 lb. medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
salt and pepper
Preparation

In microwave, cook bacon for 4 to 5 minutes at Full power to render the fat.
Pour fat into large saucepan over medium heat. Add onion, celery and pepper.
Saute for 10 minutes or until tender.
Add tomato paste, tomatoes and sugar.
Cook over low heat, covered, for an hour, stirring occasionally.
Stir in shrimp and Worcestershire sauce.
Season with salt and pepper.
Cover and cook for 15 more minutes.
Serve with steamed rice.
