Mcdonnell'S Favorite Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    unbaked 10-inch pie shell
    1 c. sugar
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. dark corn syrup
    2 Tbsp. plus 1 tsp. melted butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. pecan halves
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Blend eggs.
    Add sugar, salt and corn syrup.
    Add cooled melted butter and vanilla.
    Blend gently.
    Pour filling into shell.
    Top neatly with pecan halves.
    Place pie in oven.
    Reduce heat to 350\u00b0 at once!
    Bake 50 to 60 minutes.
    Makes 8 to 10 servings.
