Apple-Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/8 tsp. salt
    2 c. milk
    2 1/2 dry bread cubes (5 slices)
    1 medium red apple, sliced (1 c.)
Preparation
    In grease 1-quart baking dish, mix eggs, sugar, cinnamon and salt.
    Stir in milk.
    Add bread and apple.
    Stir gently to combine.
    Let stand 5 minutes for bread to absorb liquid.
    Bake in preheated oven at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean.
    Let stand 15 minutes before serving.
    Makes 4 servings.
