Homemade Salsa - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 lb. tomatoes, peeled and chopped
    2 c. onions, chopped
    1 1/2 c. jalapeno chile pepper, seeded and chopped
    2 1/2 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. lemon juice
Preparation
    Throw everything together in a 6 to 8-quart pan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat; boil gently, uncovered, 30 minutes. Cook longer if you want it thicker. Great with tortilla chips or other snack food. Makes 6 pints.
