French Style Baked Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 chicken (3 to 3 1/2 lb.), cut up
    garlic powder
    paprika
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
    1 c. whipping cream
    1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts, drained and sliced
    1 (2 oz.) jar chopped pimento (optional)
    1/2 c. toasted, slivered almonds (optional)
    1 pkg. frozen peas
Preparation
    May use skinless chicken breasts.
