Devil'S Food Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 oz. unsweetened chocolate
2 sticks butter, at room temperature
2 1/4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 c. boiling water
2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
Grease and flour two 9-inch cake pans. Melt chocolate in microwave or over double-boiler.
Cream butter and brown sugar.
Add eggs (one at a time).
Stir in chocolate. Combine dry ingredients.
Add flour mixture and buttermilk to the chocolate mixture in three stages, ending with flour.
Slowly stir in boiling water and vanilla.
Bake 30 minutes; remove pans from oven and let layers sit for 5 minutes.
Then invert pans over wire racks to cool.
