Tea Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. chopped dates
    1/2 lb. coarsely chopped nuts
    2 eggs
    3/4 c. sugar
    3/4 c. sifted plain flour
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Beat
    eggs.
    Add sugar.
    Beat until smooth.
    Add flour, salt and baking powder.
    Stir in dates, nuts and vanilla.
    Mix well. Put
    in greased small loaf pan.
    Bake at 275\u00b0 for about 1 1/2 hours.
    Cool completely before turning out.
