Tasty Apple Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1 egg
    2 large unpeeled apples, shredded (2 c.)
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Sift together flour, soda, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt.
    Cream together sugar, butter and egg.
    Cream until light and fluffy. Add shredded apples.
    Blend in dry ingredients.
    Stir in chopped nuts.
    Pour into 8 or 9-inch square pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes.
    Cut into squares.
    Serve hot with Pudding Sauce.
