Pea, Cheese And Meat Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. mayonnaise
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    4 Tbsp. minced onion
    1/2 c. Cheddar cheese, cut in 1/2-inch squares
    1/2 c. turkey ham, cut in 1/2-inch squares
    8 oz. frozen peas, thawed
    1/4 c. chopped olives
    1/4 c. mushrooms, sliced
    1 hard-boiled egg
    1 large dill or sweet pickle, diced
    green lettuce leaves
Preparation
    In bowl blend mayonnaise, salt, pepper and minced onion.
    Add thawed raw peas, cheese, meat, olives and mushrooms.
    Blend well. If mixture is too dry, add small amount more of mayonnaise.
    Place a leaf of lettuce on each salad plate and spoon a couple of tablespoons of mixture onto each leaf.
    Garnish top with sliced egg and minced pickle.
    Boneless ham or leftover pork or beef roast can be substituted in place of turkey ham.
