Spiced Pineapple Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large can pineapple chunks or 3 c. fresh or frozen
1 1/4 c. sugar
dash of salt
8 to 12 whole cloves
4-inch stick cinnamon or 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
Preparation

Drain pineapple, reserving 3/4 cup syrup (or use 3/4 cup pineapple juice).
Mix this with the rest of the ingredients. Heat to boiling and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes.
Pour over pineapple chunks.
Cover and chill.
Serve well drained.
Keeps indefinitely in \"fridge.\"
