Clam Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans chopped clams
    3 c. potatoes, diced
    2 c. corn (whole kernel)
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 tsp. thyme
    1 large can Carnation milk
    1 medium onion
    1 stick butter
Preparation
    Cook potatoes, onion and seasonings in kettle until tender. (Cover potato mixture to about 1-inch over the mixture with water.)
    When done, add milk, clams and corn.
    Bring to a boil slowly.
    Simmer 20 minutes.
