White Texas Sheet Cake - cooking recipe

1 c. margarine
1 c. water
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. plus 2 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
3 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease and flour a 15 x 11-inch jelly roll pan.
Put margarine and water in large saucepan.
Bring to a boil.
Add sugar and beat well.
Remove from heat and stir in flour, salt and eggs.
Beat to mix.
Add buttermilk, baking soda and vanilla, beat thoroughly.
Pour into prepared pan.
Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until cake springs back at touch.
Pour on frosting immediately.
