Cucumber Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium cucumber, thinly sliced
    1 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. sour cream
    a few thin slices of Vidalia onions
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. cider vinegar
    1/2 tsp. dried dill weed
Preparation
    Place cucumber slices in a large bowl.
    Sprinkle with salt; cover with water and let stand for 45 minutes.
    Drain; place on paper towels and pat dry.
    Combine sour cream and remaining ingredients in a bowl.
    Add cucumber slices, tossing to coat. Cover and chill at least 1 hour.
    Yields 2 to 4 servings.
