Cheddar Cheese Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 carrots, sliced
    3 stalks celery
    1 onion
    green pepper to taste
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. dried vegetable flakes
    3 (13 3/4 oz.) cans chicken broth
    2 c. milk
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Dice celery, onion and green pepper; saute in butter.
    Cook carrots until tender; drain.
    Add to onion mixture.
    Stir in chicken broth, milk and vegetable flakes.
    Heat.
    Add cheese; heat until hot, but do not boil.
    Very good main course soup.
