Baptist Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 5 lb. boneless chuck roast
    4 medium sized potatoes
    8 large carrots
    1/4 c. water
    seasonings to suit taste (any good steak sauce or seasoned soy sauce)
Preparation
    Place roast in large ceramic oven dish that can be covered. Top with seasonings.
    Wash potatoes, cut in half lengthwise and place around roast, cut side up.
    Clean carrots, cut in half lengthwise and place around roast and potatoes.
    Add water.
    Cover and place in 250\u00b0 oven for 3 to 4 hours.
