Swiss Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. chuck steak (1 1/2-inch)
    1/4 c. flour
    2 Tbsp. oil
    2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 large can tomatoes (2 c.)
    2 medium onions, sliced
    1 or 2 celery stalks, diced
    1 bay leaf
    2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Preparation
    Rub flour on meat.
    Brown slowly in hot oil in heavy skillet. Sprinkle steak with salt and pepper.
    Add remaining ingredients. Cover and cook over low heat or in oven at 325\u00b0 about 2 hours or until meat is fork-tender.
    Add a small amount of boiling water, if necessary, for gravy, if desired.
