Grandma Rudolph'S Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 egg
    2 c. flour, sifted
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. milk
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs and vanilla to mixture.
    Blend dry ingredients.
    Alternately add dry ingredients and milk.
    Roll dough to 1/2-inch and cut in desired shapes and sizes.
    Sprinkle with sugar.
    Bake for 8 to 10 minutes.
