Custard Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs, slightly beaten
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 1/2 c. scalded milk
    9-inch unbaked pie shell
    nutmeg
Preparation
    Blend eggs, sugar, vanilla and salt; gradually stir in scalded milk.
    Pour filling into pie shell, sprinkle with nutmeg.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 50 minutes.
    Test with knife 2 inches from edge of crust.
    Cool and chill.
