Quiche Lorraine With Swiss Cheese - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. (6 oz.) Swiss cheese
    8 slices crisp bacon, crumbled
    pastry for 1 crust (9-inch) pie, unbaked
    3 eggs
    1 c. heavy cream
    1/2 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    dash of cayenne
    1/2 tsp. powdered mustard
Preparation
    Sprinkle cheese and bacon into pastry-lined pie pan.
    Beat remaining ingredients together and pour over cheese.
    Bake in preheated moderate oven (375\u00b0) for 45 minutes or until firm and browned.
    (If you insert a clean knife and it comes out clean, quiche is done.) Cut into wedges and serve hot.
    Makes 6 servings.
