Pineapple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box yellow cake mix
    1 c. butter, melted
    1 c. sugar
    1 (15 oz.) can crushed pineapple (with juice)
Preparation
    Make cake mix according to directions. Save 1 cup of the batter for the icing. Grease and lightly flour a 9 x 13 pan and bake cake as directed.
    In a saucepan, melt 1 cup of butter. Add 1 cup sugar and the crushed pineapple with juice. Add the reserved cup of batter and cook until thick. Pour over the cake.
