Sour Cream Pound Cake(Wedding Cake) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter, softened
    3 c. sugar
    6 eggs, separated
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. soda
    3 c. plain flour
    1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter; add sugar and egg yolks, one at a time.
    Sift dry ingredients together.
    Add alternately with sour cream.
    Add vanilla.
    Beat egg whites and fold in.
    Bake in greased and floured tube pan for 1 hour and 20 minutes in a 325\u00b0 oven.
    Test for doneness.
