Oven Barbecued Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (2 1/2 to 3 lb.) ready to cook chicken, cut up
    1/4 c. cooking oil
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. chopped celery
    1/2 c. ketchup
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
Preparation
    In skillet, brown chicken slowly in oil.
    Place in 12 x 7 1/2 x 2-inch baking dish. To skillet, add onion and celery and cook until tender.
    Add remaining ingredients and 1/3 cup water. Season to taste.
    Simmer 15 minutes.
    Skim off excess fat.
    Pour sauce over chicken.
    Bake uncovered in 325\u00b0 oven for 1 1/4 hours, basting 3 or 4 times.
    Makes 3 to 4 servings.
