2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
2 prepared, unbaked pie crusts
Preparation

Mix first 3 ingredients together like crumbs.
Save 1 1/4 cups for topping
To remaining crumbs, add buttermilk and baking soda.
